LOWER ROAD: The hillside garden was completely overgrown with all boundary fencing compromised. Aside from some rotten railway sleepers there had been little attempt at retaining and the new owners wanted a complete redesign of the space.
The design was broken down into 4 areas – a lower patio area featuring paving, pot plants, trellising and plant boxes. Hardwood steps leads up to a hardwood deck with a rear painted slatted retaining wall and on a third level a curving Scottish pebble path dissects a gently sloping lawn. At the rear of the garden in deep shade a woodland area is emerging.
