CHALFONT HEIGHTS: Our brief here was to completely re-design the steeply shelving front garden that was overgrown with many ‘leggy’ and diseased shrubs and old broken rockery walls. The owners wanted to create an impactful display of decorative shrubs and trees bordered by hedging.
We created retaining walls using oak sleepers that allowed for generous terraced planting beds, constructed a metal-edged slate chipping path and re-laid the front lawn.
Planting was extensive featuring lavender and box hedging, decorative cherry, Amelanchier, Magnolia stellata trees, deciduous and evergreen shrubs, fragrant shrub roses and jasmine and clematis climbers.
